BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) Pipeline Project

The project for SMEs operating commercial activities in provinces of Ardahan, Kars, Erzurum, Erzincan, Gümüşhane, Sivas, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye and Adana where the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline gets through was commenced in 2007, and will end in 2017. For the project carried with the cooperation of BTC Co. and KGF A.Ş., the parties established fund amounting to USD 2 million in total. This fund will create a guarantee capacity of USD 10 million in total and credit capacity of USD 12.5 million, due to the corporate guarantee function of KGF.
In order to maintain the project more efficiently and to attain the targeted capacity within shorter time, the “Portfolio Guarantee System” which is successfully applied in the project of “Greater Anatolia Credit Facilities” supported with EIF will also be implemented in this project. The project currently carried out through 3 banks will be commenced to carried out through 21 banks following the mutual understanding reached with BTC Co., and so it will ensured to address larger masses.
